Please join other ministers in the Clarksville, TN, area to pray for our state and federal government and hear a legislative update from The Family Action Council of Tennessee.
Many important issues being considered right now by the Tennessee legislature will affect our families and religious liberties for years to come. All Clarksville-area ministers are invited to hear "inside information" on important bills affecting the sanctity of human life, the biblical institution of marriage, traditional family values, and religious liberty, as presented by Dr. David L. Shelley, director of church and community relations for the Family Action Council of Tennessee.
This event, which follows Ministers' Day on the Hill 2009, will be held at Clarksville First Assembly of God Church and is co-sponsored by the Clarksville Ministerial Association. There is no charge, as the church is providing the lunch, but reservations are requested. Dress is whatever you would wear the rest of the day.
We are grateful to Clarksville First Assembly of God Church for making its building available for this program, but we do not want to disrupt the church staff. So if you need more information or would like to make a reservation, please contact Dr. David Shelley at David.Shelley@FACTn.org or (615) 469-4139, rather than the church office.
